Mummies and Tattoos
The company logo (two wadjet eyes flanking a nefer sign) is a fascinating image. Recent scholarship (h/t to Ann Austin) has illuminated that these glyphs were tattooed on the base of a female healer's neck at Deir el Medina (a city in ancient Egypt). Together they read "do good," colloquially. A magic wand would have been one of the ritual objects that a female healer would have used to help her patients.
Many Thanks to Nina West for re-imagining my hieroglyph font into this beautiful image.
